The Great Coastal Birdwatch

The Great Coastal Birdwatch is back for another year and you can take part!

Join BARI and Bird Aware Solent to celebrate the arrival of the migratory birds who spend winter along our coastline.

Head to the Lookout at Upton Country Park (look out for the BARI flag!), pick up a spotter sheet and record how many birds you can see in an hour.

By taking part you’ll increase your knowledge of the coastal birds in Poole Harbour, help contribute valuable data, and learn how you can help these special birds thrive and survive.
