Nightjar Walk

Back by popular demand, free nightjar walks around our precious heaths are starting again!

Sturdy footwear is required on the uneven terrain of the heath. Visitors on the walk must have a decent level of fitness to be able to walk around Canford Heath, we cannot drive people around the site.

If you would like to learn more about lowland heathland habitat and have a chance of seeing the incredible nightjar as well as many other species, please email heathwardens@bcpcouncil.gov.uk to reserve your place.

Meet at Steeple Close at 20:45. Tentative finish time around 22:30, possibly concluding earlier depending on sightings.
