Creative Writing

The first of four workshops being held through the year, each workshop will be inspired by the passing seasons.

Use the glorious surroundings of Upton House and Upton Country Park in the spring as your muse in this three-hour workshop designed for writers both new and experienced. By following a range of literary activities in a relaxed atmosphere, you will produce a short poem or piece of prose on a subject of your choice inspired by the Country Park. Do be prepared to share your work with the group.

All money raised through this workshop will go towards further education programmes at Upton Country Park.

Alison Green is an award-winning writer who lives on the shoreline of Holes Bay. She has published two novels set in Provence and featured in several journals and on the radio. Alison has run numerous popular writing workshops in this country and in the south of France. Her main writing interests are nature and place.
