Festive Bird Watching Walk

Join the Bird and Recreation Initiative (BARI) for a walk and talk as you look at the amazing local bird life and hear their epic migration stories. Learn to identify wading birds with Emily as you watch key species feed and rest along the shoreline. This walk is aimed at beginners so if you’ve never been bird watching before please come along, we’d love to show you our fantastic shorebirds. We have a few spare binoculars but please bring your own if you have them. We’ll also be using a telescope to give close up views!

Meet outside the Activity Centre (look for our flag!) at 9am and we’ll head towards the bird hide and walk around the bay.

Mince pie included and Christmas jumpers greatly encouraged!

Suitable for adults and older children. Mince pie allergen information will be provided.
