A walk through time – Human Habitation on the Heath

Join Dorset Council’s senior archaeologist, Steve Wallis, as he takes us on a walk from Thorncombe Woods Nature Reserve, along a section of the roman road and out onto the Rainbarrows of Duddle Heath – Thomas Hardy country.

Steve will explain the features along the way, many of which are still very visible today.
