Winter Wildlife Adventure Day

Spread the love for nature this Valentine’s Day with some citizen science, and help us to record the wildlife in the Country Park.

Free event, open to everyone from the age of 3 to 103!

There will be lots happening across the Country Park throughout the day, so come along to the Adventure Day HQ in Upton House from 10am – 4pm to meet the teams and get involved with activities such as:

Help the RSPB survey our woodland birds,

Join the park’s research volunteers in identifying our moth population,

Find out more about the habits of bats with the Dorset Bat Group,

Learn what our heathland species does over winter with the Urban Heaths Partnership, or

Discover our visiting waders on their long migrations with the Bird and Recreation Initiative.

Don’t forget to come into the house for lots of activities!
