The Dorset Heaths Partnership team had great fun being involved in the Outdoor Classroom Day 2025 last week. A global movement, Dorset Cost Forum fantastically organised the event. We joined 9 other organisations to help educate 166 pupils from 7 schools.
They had fun learning about the wonderful array of creatures found hidden within our heaths at our stall. This included a “relay race”, dividing each school into two teams and seeing who could identify the picture of the amphibian, reptile, bird, fish, invertebrate, or mammal in their hands quickest.
They did a BRILLIANT job!
