Wildlife Wanders at Thorncombe

Join countryside ranger and bird enthusiast Kath Hernon for seasonal guided walks around Thorncombe Wood Local Nature Reserve.

Kath will share with you her extensive knowledge and passion for Thorncombe’s wildlife. She will identify species of ancient woodland flower and tree, tell you which butterfly is which by the size and shape of its wings, or identify a bird just from its song. Kath’s enthusiasm for all things ‘wildlife conservation’ is contagious and these walks are a highlight of Thorncombe’s 2022 events calendar.
