The Purbeck Sand Lizard walk and talk

Join ARC’s education officer, Owain, for a talk in the middle of the Purbecks to learn all about our rare native species of lizard and the importance of the habitats it lives in. Afterwards, you’ll take a short walk to see the Purbeck Sand Lizard pop-up art installation.

The Purbeck Sand Lizard is a creation by local artist Eilidh Middleton who seeks to create discussion of and education about environmental issues through the creation of her sculptures.

Meet at The Cake House – East Creech Tea Room on East Creech Farm, Wareham at 01:00PM and the walk will begin at 02:00PM. You will walk for around 10 minutes (0.5 miles) to the site of the installation where the talk will happen. ARC will have a gazebo and stall at the tea rooms, and refreshments and toilets are available on site.
