Roots & Shoots – Family Tree Planting Day

This event is part of Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Species Survival Fund Project, where 3.5-hectares of improved pasture will be planted with locally sourced, mixed native species to create a pastoral woodland.

A collaboration between Dorset Wildlife Trust, Trees of Dorset, and Planet Purbeck, the session will aim to plant close to 500 trees in one go.

Snacks and drinks will be provided, and Dorset Wildlife Trust are generously providing a sandwich / light lunch at The Salt Pig.

The event will take place on Sunday 23rd February, 10am to 3pm, and is free, however booking is required.
