We had a site visit from colleagues in County Hall and our chief executive, Matt Prosser, on Wednesday 17 Aug. Some of the team were able to meet him and talk about the monitoring and wardening work we do, plus our #OperationHeathland campaign and Dorset Dogs initiative.
It was a pleasure to be able to showcase our wonderful heathlands and the stroll up to the barrow with Dorset Council’s senior archaeologist, Steve Wallis, provided stunning views across our county.
The party then moved on to Weymouth, where they met colleagues from Litter Free Dorset, Litter Free Coast and Sea and Dorset Coast Forum and heard about the work they’re doing around the town.
